On a whim...very near the day of the tape release for Ethernet's Into the Woods album, we decided to curate a remix album. Tim mentioned he hadn't considered his compositions remixed and was very open to the idea. Ultimately, Ethernet (Tim) drew in some top notch work from Kranky label mate Loscil and a grip of superb ambient producers: Cloud City Cars, DJU, Gentle Force, Jatun, Widesky and wndfrm. We received fantastic submissions from Gulls, courtesy of Boomarm Nation and Portland's Etbonz brought his retro trance to the mix with congas...(walk them congas)

A huge THANK YOU to all the artists that made this release happen. Heather, thank you for remembering the photo from so long ago and letting us make this kick ass cover. It is perfect! We(I) are(am) moved by the gorgeous and sublime musics that these talented artists offered us in return for our asking. I like to believe we came together under a deep understanding of Ethernet's music and have served to move the force of it deeper into the ear of the world.
