Tom Rimshot Tim continues his exploration of ambient music on cassettes, and this one recalls some slight SAW II atmospheres. Alien, organic and stranded, Sandstone is a lovely tableaux of drifting beatless pieces. Favorite track: Limestone.

Ews Nsj recalls that timeless LP by Aphex Twin, "Selected Ambient Works Vol. II"... esp. the tracks 'Limestone' and 'Sandstone'.. that pair of SAW LPs is forever branded onto my soul. the pieces are just as cunningly hypnotic and infectious, slow subtle alterations on each turn of the patterns work to drive the timbre-barbed hook further into the mind. I am not able to get as deep as with the previously mentioned record, yet this most certainly is a fantastic effort in getting very near that place.. Favorite track: Beachcombing.
